The legendary Mick the Fish, my next door neighbour and noted gourmand, is finally sharing his remarkable culinary skills with us all. He is a splendid amateur cook which you would know if you had been to any of his parties. And now he is taking them to a professional kitchen to provide brilliant meals for my wife’s Lovely Merchants. You can book for lunch, which I will certainly be doing. You can also taste my daughter Maude’s cakes, she is a pretty mean baker herself.

For Lovely Merchants Jane Howard will be presenting a new selection of small scale sculptures. All of which will be individually handmade and limited edition. Her ‘Worldly Quail Egg’ will be for sale. By intricately mixing blue paint with the natural pattern of the shell, these eggs become like miniature globes.
